Squeezebox Touch now in stores |
 It’s been talked about a lot and it’s now on sale: the new Logitech “box”
, the Squeezebox Touch. According to its producers, the small device is set to “revolutionize” the way we listen to music in our homes. Equipped with a touch sensitive touch screen, the small device is able to transmit - in wireless - all the music you have on your computer. Even if you have more than one. Not only that, but the Squeezebox is even capable of “flushing out” tracks on your mp3 players or NAS units. Not to mention that the “box” also lets you listen to radio stations online. And if that wasn’t enough, Logitech has partnered with some music service companies on the internet - Pandora ®, Rhapsody ® and Slacker ® - from which you can directly buy more liquid music. Obviously, there’s nothing here that you can’t already do with other devices, but to everything Squeezebox introduces its modest dimensions (eleven centimeters in length) and a nice, accurate design. Price: around 300 euros in Europe. |
